Tudor Crystal New Titanic Range - Titanic Stemware
In 1912 the Titanic was claimed to be the most luxurious and safe vessel afloat. Everything on board was produced to the highest standard using the very best materials and craftsmen available. The dining salon was a vision of loveliness as the crystal sparkled in preparation for an evening of sheer excellence in cuisine, wine and tableware. Alas future generations were denied the opportunity to experience such opulence. On that fateful night of the 14th April the Titanic met its match in the form of an immense iceberg. When the makers of the film Titanic wished to reproduce the crystal ware, they came to Stourbridge, the home of full lead hand made crystal and to Tudor Crystal. The glasses in our range are based on the items made for the film. The design comprises of fluting and an engraved flag with a star. It is as appropriate for today’s tastes as it was in 1912!
