Traditional Designs - Seymour
One of Tudor's earliest designs, Seymour has retained its popularity for a very long time -possibly due to its simple, uncluttered pattern and the comfortable way it sits in the hand. A traditional suite, it is available in the full Tudor complement of stemmed glasses, tumblers and decanters. JANE SEYMOUR was the daughter of Thomas, Baron Sudeley, Lord High Admiral to Henry VIII. Jane caught the monarch's eye and became his third wife alter the hapless Anne Boleyn was condemned to death on a somewhat dubious charge of adultery. Jane produced the male heir Henry so desperately craved and who was to become Edward VI. She died in the process. Click here to return to the list
