The Mayo Murders
Featuring Alistair McGowan, episode 2 is based at the Dial Glassworks,
Stourbridge. Can you recognise it or any of the glassmakers?The offices were transformed by painting them mushroom and evidence of Dove
Manufacturing can still be seen on the windows. The murder weapon is not a
common or garden one, it will give you quite a surprise.
This episode will be screened on BBC1 at 8.00 p.m. on Sunday, 19th March.

Tudor Crystal Open Day - Bank Holiday Monday 28th August
This will be part of the International Festival of Glass in Stourbridge with
'lots' going on - www.ifg.org.uk
We will also have American lampwork artist Loren Stump demonstrating
on the Monday, in addition to his classes on Murrinin, Sculpture and
paperweights.
Booking for the Open Day will start in the New Year and can be
actioned through our Factory Shop (Tel 44 (0) 1384 392525). There is a
nominal charge of £5 per person. As usual, you can try your hand at blowing
a tumbler. You can then try cutting and sandblasting and take your work of
art home with you.
New Bowls from Old Pattern Books
(Pantomime time of year with similar prices). We are creating items from our
pattern books that we think are interesting. At the moment we are making

Description
Hand finished rim,
Plain foot
Clear hollows and cuts using both diamond and stone wheels. There are 12
pairs of deep mitres with 12 X 1.25" polished hollows sitting above the V
and diagonally below. This bowl was handmade by the Tudor team and cut by
Ian Stanley. It has the design number engraved on the foot.

Description
A hand finished rim with beaded, polished outside decoration. The foot is decorated with 6 sprigs of polished leaves and flat
berries. The bowl is decorated with polished sweeping, stylised leaves and
small clusters of unpolished berries. The bowl was handmade by the Tudor Team and cut by Kevin Bailey. It
has the design number engraved on the foot.
